Born in the north of Spain, raised on the east coast, I got my PhD in the capital and lived for a few years in China.

I am an astrophysicist working at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA-CSIC), in the beautiful southern city of Granada.

I am also a sinologist and musician or, as a colleague says, a sino-musician.
